Ta'ahiamanu is the small public beach on Moorea's north coast, near Ōpūnohu Bay. It is a fraction of Temae's size and correspondingly quieter.
The lagoon shelves so gently that you can wade a long way out before it reaches your chest, which makes it the gentlest water in this directory and the obvious one with small children. Rays and small reef fish come in close over the sand.
