There is no ranking here. Every figure below is read from a sourced fact sheet and carries the date it was checked; where nothing was sourced the page says so rather than estimating.

When each one is at its best

Read off every destination's sourced season. A filled block is a month the destination is at its best, not a month it is open — all of them are open all year.

Which half of the year you can travel in narrows the list before anything else does. November is the thinnest month — only Maldives and Thailand are in season. May is the widest, with 6.

The band is the directory's own coarse sort. The sentence under each is quoted from the fact sheet with the date it was checked, because a price without a date is not a price.

    Checked July 2026 via Numbeo's Maldives country page. Note that resort-island pricing is effectively a closed market and diverges sharply from national averages — a resort meal is not comparable to a Malé one. Source

  • Seychelles
