Ukulhas sits on the northern rim of Ari Atoll, about seventy-four kilometres from Velana, and it is the guesthouse island with a reputation for running itself well — waste separation, a maintained beach, rules that are actually kept.
The designated beach runs along the island's western end, which is the sunset side. The house reef is close enough in to swim to.
It is in the same atoll as Rasdhoo and the hammerhead diving, so it works as a base for that without paying resort prices.

Access and parking
Public ferry or speedboat from Malé, or a domestic flight to Maamigili in the next atoll south. Showers and food are mapped at the beach; no toilets are.
