Thoddoo Sunset Beach

Thoddoo is the odd one in this set: an island with farmland on it. It sits alone north of Ari Atoll and grows a meaningful share of the country's fruit and vegetables, which in a nation of coral sand is close to unique.

The designated beach is on the western side and is named for what it is for. There is a second, Sunrise Beach, on the other shore.

The consequence for a visitor is that Thoddoo has an inland to walk through — papaya and watermelon fields rather than a strip of guesthouses — which none of the other islands here do.
