Flic-en-Flac is the long one: several kilometres of west-coast sand with casuarina trees behind it and a reef far enough out to take the swell off entirely. The water is as calm as anything in this directory.
It is also the best-provided beach here. The survey found toilets, showers, food and rentals all mapped along it, which is more than any other beach in this set carries. The consequence is the obvious one: this is a beach with a town attached, busy at weekends and never empty.

Access and parking
Road access the length of the beach with sixteen parking areas mapped, though none records whether it charges. The public stretch is genuinely long, so walking a few hundred metres from the main access point changes the crowd completely.
