Pink Sands runs the length of Harbour Island's Atlantic side, three miles of it, and the colour is real — red-shelled organisms ground into white carbonate sand, most obvious at the waterline and in low sun.
It is the only beach in this directory whose sand is recorded as pink, and the only one on an island where the normal way to reach the beach is a golf cart. An offshore reef takes the worst of the Atlantic off it, so the water is swimmable without being lagoon-flat.

Access and parking
Water taxi from North Eleuthera to Dunmore Town, then across the island. There are public access paths between the properties along the beach; the survey found no car park, because there is hardly a car on the island.
