Baros Maldives

Baros sits in North Malé Atoll, twenty-five minutes by speedboat from the airport, which puts it in the small group of Maldives resorts that can be reached after a late international arrival without a night in Malé first.

The accommodation runs from beach villas up through water villas and water pool villas standing over the lagoon, and the resort describes itself as designed for couples. It is not adults-only — children are booked for — but there is no kids club and nothing here is arranged around one.

Worth knowing before comparing prices: there is no all-inclusive plan. The meal plans are bed and breakfast, half board, and a half-board dine-around, so a headline rate here covers less than the same rate at an all-inclusive island, and the difference is made up at the restaurants.
