The Coral Coast runs along the south of Viti Levu, and it is where Fiji's mainland tourism is. What it is not is a coast of public beaches. Most of the shoreline is fringing reef that dries at low tide, and most of the sand that is not reef belongs to a resort.

Natadola is the exception, and it is the reason this region is here rather than the Mamanucas or the Yasawas. It is a genuine public beach of deep white sand on an island where that is rare.

This directory lists one beach in Fiji, which is an honest count rather than a gap. The survey behind these pages looked for others and found resort frontages and a town, and a resort frontage is a stay, not a beach.
